that machine looks massive BUT.................. sure has a slow/weak hydraulic system ...... it has no balls. Wolf ridge machines are faster and don't struggle like this one
At what point is it struggling?
Yeah - I watched this machine in action at the forestry expo a couple weeks ago, and never saw it struggle at all. Does it have a blindingly fast cycle time? No, but you’re running a box blade for consistent/ uniform splits.

Ordered a tw2 in 2019 just before covid hit. Hydraulic pump leaking in first week. Called company they said they would fix it in my driveway. Still waiting 4 years later it still leaks. My craftsman woodsplitter is better, its just slow

Love your Alpha 6, i wish we had something like them here in New Zealand. Am trying to make my own any thoughts on the box wedge steel size.
Great price point for what you get. I have compared and the rest are for awfully slow or can’t handle the diameter. I already have a processor so not in the market but no brainer at this price point but why does the saw get hung up a lot with some odd logs? Is the conveyor taking too much from it?
Thanks for the comment! This video was shot during our testing phase. The saw pressure needed to be adjusted, resulting in the bar hanging up on some cuts. We appreciate the support!

I love my Alpha 6 maybe and 8 way wedge would be a nice option and for the future thought would be a gas gauge on the tank and a fitted weather cover. But still love my Alpha 6 and maybe getting the disc cleaner

I like the operator position and the ability to reach the logs to re-split. That is so underrated. Also having the feeder instead of the log dog is nice. The 24” diameter width and a 5” cylinder options…yeah I guess he is right this is a steal for a full blown processor.
We took our time during the design phase with this processor. We truly believe it is the best machine on the market with this price point!
I just picked up my MPX a few weeks ago and I must say I'm overly satisfied! the machine is amazing and everything you could ask for and more at this price point! you guys did amazing job with this one!

Like the feature of controlling split size. I am in charge of the Falmouth Lion's Firewood fund raising, we split a lot of red oak and keep our splits smaller due drying time. We use my Timberwolfe TW3 HD, (older moldel) with a modified 4 way wedge and table. 2 or more splitting, just over a cord per hour. We do between 25 and 30 cord per year. Would love for you to stop in if you are ever in the area. We were featured on one Phil and Karen's videos. Allen's Family Firewood. Thank you for your great products and innovations.
